3.1 This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to the Operator. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. It is protected by intellectual property laws including, but not limited to Copyright.

3.2 You may view, use, download and store the material on this website for personal use or for the purpose of conducting business with us. Commercial use is not permitted. The re-distribution, re-publication, or otherwise making available of the material on this website to third parties, without our prior written consent is prohibited.

3.3 Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.

6.2 Except as set out in Clause 6.3, we will be under no liability to you whatsoever whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, restitution or otherwise for any injury, death, damage or direct, indirect or consequential loss (all three of which terms include, without limitation, pure economic loss, loss of profits, loss of business, depletion of goodwill and like loss) howsoever caused arising out of or in connection with the use of this website or the use, accessing, downloading or relying on any information or other materials contained in this website, including, without limitation, as a result of any computer virus.

6.3 These Terms and Conditions do not exclude our liability (if any) to you for personal injury or death resulting from our negligence, for fraud or for any matter which it would be illegal for us to exclude or to attempt to exclude our liability.

6.4 Anj Handa Associates holds Professional Indemnity Insurance with Simply Business. Public Liability is covered up to £1,000,000 and Professional Indemnity at £250,000. A copy of Insurance Certificate can be provided upon request.

7. Terms & Conditions of Engagement

7.1 Payment Terms

Inspiring Women Changemakers is a brand of Anj Handa Associates. Our standard payment terms are upfront payment within 14 days from receipt of invoice, unless agreed otherwise with The Client. Any exceptions must be agreed in advance with The Client and will be noted on invoices issued by Anj Handa Associates.

7.2 Late payments

Anj Handa Associates may recover late payment or interest charges under “The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Regulations) 2013”.

If a payment date is agreed, it must usually be within 30 days for public authorities or 60 days for business transactions. If a payment date is not agreed, the law says the payment is late 30 days after either:

  • The Client gets the invoice
  • Anj Handa Associates delivers the goods or provide the service (if this is later)

7.3 Contract Delivery

In advance of delivery, The Client will be sent a work outline put together by Anj Handa Associates, in consultation with The Client. This Work Outline references our Terms & Conditions and where accepted without query, forms part of The Agreement.

In the event of the nominated Anj Handa Associates delivery partner being unwilling or unable to undertake an agreed piece of work with The Client, an appropriate substitute will be sent in their place, contracted by Anj Handa Associates. They will:

  • Be equally skilled, qualified, security cleared and able to perform the duties outlined in the Client Outline
  • Not be interviewed by The Client before they start (except for verification checks)
  • Not come from a pool of workers regularly engaged by you, the end client
  • Deliver all of the agreed outputs agreed as part of the contract

7.4 Revisions

Two revisions to documents prepared for The Client or to dates set for service delivery will be acceptable on the grounds of good reason and with sufficient notice (minimum 24 hours). Any further revisions may be subject to additional fees and must be agreed between Anj Handa Associates and The Client, in writing.

7.5 Cancellation

7.5.i Business Cancellation

Either Party may terminate this Agreement on 30 days written notice. In the event both Parties wish to mutually terminate this Agreement, the date of termination shall be as agreed by the Parties without regard to the notice provision.

In the event this Agreement is terminated, Anj Handa Associates shall work with Client to facilitate an orderly transition of work in progress, and shall deliver to Client copies of all documents and records or information to facilitate the transition.

If the contract is cancelled, Anj Handa Associates and The Client will agree an amount sufficient to cover actual losses that directly result from cancellation, such as costs already incurred or loss of profit). These charges will be a genuine estimate of direct loss.

7.5.ii Consumer Cancellation

In line with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the cancellation period ends as follows, unless regulation 31 applies if the contract is:

  • a service contract, or
  • a contract for the supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium
    the cancellation period ends at the end of 14 days after the day on which the contract is entered into
8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

9. Complete Agreement

These Terms and Conditions (including the Privacy Policy referred to in Clause 8) contain all the terms which you and the Operator have agreed in relation to the use of the website.

10. Jurisdiction and Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions

This website is controlled and operated by Anj Handa Associates from our offices in England. The formation, existence, construction, performance, validity in all aspects whatsoever of these Terms and Conditions or of any term of these Terms and Conditions or any dispute in relation to the materials contained in this website shall be governed by English law. The English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or use of the website. 9.1 Your continued use of this website indicates your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
