IWC2017 – our inaugural Awards event
November 2017 saw our first ever annual awards event to celebrate women changemakers in Yorkshire. Ninety women and men from across the region attended the dinner, which was held at aspire-igen’s Opportunity Centre in Bradford.
It was compered by international MC, Minoti Parikh, who charmed the guests with her vibrant personality, telling the stories of each of the six women who were recognised on the night.
Social impact was threaded throughout the event, even down to our ethical suppliers. Each guest also received a rocket charm, a symbol whose trajectory describes the changemaking journey. Guests loved the attention to detail, designed to make them feel as special as they are!
